You were given a brief, commissioned to produce a piece of theatre...for a target audience with a specific didactic porpoise. This is where you begin!
Why did you
produce this piece of theatre?
Who commissioned
you to?
How did they
communicate with you?
What was
your brief?
What was
your target audience?
How did this
lead to choice of practitioner?
Did this
necessitate any research? (TIE)
How did you
research the subject area?
How did you
share your research?
Then…
Devising process…
I'll be posting suggestions and thoughts and other over the coming days...
Post sensible thoughts concerns and questions and I'll do my best to respond!
TPE
"over the coming days..."
ReplyDeleteIs the IPP in for this Friday, or next Friday? :S
Just a turn of phrase Kristian
ReplyDeleteDidn't mean to worry you
next friday is good!
Mr Pope,
ReplyDeleteAre we allowed to meantion that you set up this blog into help share our information together, and collabrate on each other ideas, or should we say us as a group set it up ?
thanks
jess
My IPP seems to a collaboration between option A and B i am panicking
ReplyDeleteOption B (which i am doing is about formulating a question, having a prediction, research workshop and a "Record" which is a record of reflection)
but mine is a mixture of having a stimulus, devising embodied with applying the knowledge the line of action.
Which is different to what option B wants its A > B! :')
Blessing,
ReplyDeleteconsider the information on this site
https://sites.google.com/a/ccsd.edu/theatre-arts-ib/assessment/ipp
As far as I'm concerned, if you're completing the IPP on MND from last year then your project falls within strand A and is...
"Practical engagement in realizing a performance of a playtext"
I will invite Ms. McNally into the thread to get her response too.
Jess,
ReplyDeleteYou should mention the blog(s) and how you used them.
Leave me out of the picture completely though.
Very simply "we" established a blog.

ReplyDeleteConsider also the reactions of others.
ReplyDeleteYou should include your reactions to feedback (not your inclusion of guidance)
After you had shown people; perhaps more specifically the nice lady what came to see you; how did you adapt?
Sir,
ReplyDeletewhen I looked at the example IPP piece we were given, in the evaluation section, there is a journal routine section.
Is this definitely needed, as I don't fully understand what it is?
